Former Fond du Lac Public Works Director Suing City Of Plymouth

The former City of Fond du Lac Public Works Director is now suing the City of Plymouth.

Online court documents show Jordan Skiff filed the suit against the City of Plymouth on June 3, 2022.

Skiff was the Director in Fond du Lac from 2011 until leaving in December of 2020, when he was selected as the city administrator/utilities manager for Plymouth.

Skiff began his new position on January 11, 2021, but was fired by the City Council in October of 2021.

At the time, the city did not give a specific reason behind the decision, with city officials saying “the city does not discuss personnel matters.”

Skiff wanted the discussion surrounding his termination to be handled in an open session, but the council instead chose to meet in closed session.

At the time Skiff, said he had been terminated due to a vague lack of confidence in his leadership.

KFIZ News reached out to Mr. Skiff for comment, but have not yet heard back from him.
