Former WCI Inmate Sentenced For Attempted Murder Of Guard

The former Waupun Correctional inmate who tried to kill a female corrections officer has had 15 years added to his prison sentence. Forty-seven-year-old Bobby Kimble was recently sentenced in Dodge County Court on an attempted murder charge stemming from the October 2015 incident. He waited outside a restroom at the prison for the officer and punched her multiple times. He then locked himself in the bathroom with her and continued his attack with a homemade weapon, threatening to kill her.  Other corrections officers were able to get into the bathroom and subdue Kimble.
