Foster Throws Hat In Ring For 52nd District State Assembly

There appears to be another candidate running for the 52nd District State Assembly seat.

Social media posts Monday night show Fond du Lac resident Lawrence Foster apparently throwing his hat into the ring for the race.

Foster has secured a “Foster for Assembly” website, although the site only shows a message of “Launching Shortly” when you click on it.

Foster had run for Fond du Lac City Council in April of 2021, and had been nominated to sit on the Advisory Park Board.

He would be the 2nd candidate looking to fill the seat of of outgoing Assemblyman Jeremy Thiesfeldt, who announced last year he would not seek reelection but instead would be returning to the private sector.

Jerry O’Connor announced his candidacy a little over a week ago.

KFIZ News reached out to the Foster campaign for confirmation and was told that the official announcement is set for Wednesday morning.
