Fox Crossing Man Arraigned On FDL County Chase Charges

The 33-year-old Winnebago County man who led Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s deputies on a high speed chase last month was arraigned Monday. Anthony Rivera of the Village of Fox Crossing entered not guilty pleas to charges stemming from the chase on October 13th. It began on I-41 in the Town of Eldorado as a reckless driver complaint. It covered 13 miles ending at Highway 151 and Highway 49 outside of Waupun where Dodge County Sheriff’s deputies and Waupun Police had put down tire deflation devices. With his tires deflated deputies boxed in his vehicle. Rivera allegedly went over 100 miles an hour during portions of the pursuit. His next hearing is in January with a two-day jury trial scheduled in March.
