Free Community Christmas Dinner Offered Again This Year in FDL

Christmas is one week away, and again this year a free
Community Christmas Dinner is being offered in Fond du Lac. The dinner will be
held from 11 am until 2 pm on Christmas Day at the Eagles Club in Fond du Lac. Dan
Sheer of the Eagles Club says it’s a joy to open their doors to host this
event. “Some people adopt a family for Christmas, as far as the Eagles is
concerned, we adopted a city,” he said. “Instead of just being there to open
the building and providing that service, it’s really come to be a joy.”

People who are homebound and would like to request a meal
to be delivered to them on Christmas Day should call 920-322-5334 by Sunday
(December 22^nd) to request delivery. People who would like a ride to
the dinner on the 25^th can call the same number to arrange
transportation. The Eagles Club is located at 515 north Park Avenue in Fond du
Lac.
