Fuhrman Found Guilty Of Attempted 1st Degree Homicide

The man accused of attempting to kill an Oshkosh West school resource officer in 2019 has been convicted of attempted 1st degree homicide yesterday, Friday, February 3, 2023.

The trial for Grant Fuhrman lasted nine days but the jury only took a couple hours to come up with their verdict.

Sentencing for Fuhrman who was 16 at the time of the crime and now 20, will be May 1st.

Fuhrman stabbed then resource officer Mike Wissink with a bbq type pronged fork on December 3rd, 2019.

Wissink fired his gun at Fuhrman striking him to stop the attack.

Both were taken to the hospital.
