Gableman Due Back In Court

The attorney overseeing the investigation into Wisconsin’s 2020 election is due back in court Thursday, after a judge refused to recuse himself from an open records suit.

Dane County Judge Frank Remington found Michael Gableman in contempt of court last month, after Gableman had an outburst on the witness stand in which he accused Remington of being biased against him.

This is one of four cases in Dane County that accuse Gableman of failing to provide records related to his partisan elections probe, each case brought by the DC based liberal watchdog group American Oversight.

Remington rejected Gableman’s request to recuse himself, writing that Gableman’s attorneys failed to provide any examples of bias and only demonstrated that he’s often ruled against them.
