Gas Leak Causing Evacuations in North Fond du Lac

An active gas leak is causing evacuations in the Village of North Fond du Lac this evening. The leak is being reported on Cardinal Court in the village, which is located inside the Gaslight Terrace Mobile Home Park. The evacuations are being done within a half-mile radius of the incident. The North Fond du Lac Fire Department is asking people to avoid the area as safety is still a concern. Alliant Energy is reporting just under 300 customers are without power at this time as crews work to fix the problem.
