Gas Leak In FDL

A contractor struck a 1-inch gas line causing a natural gas leak in the area of Military and Western in Fond du Lac Monday afternoon. Division Chief of Fire Prevention Troy Haase says some apartments near the corner of the intersection were evacuated while Alliant Energy crews worked to shut off the leak.
