Gas Main Hit Near Mix It Up Bakery In Downtown FDL

Fond du Lac Fire Rescue and Alliant Energy were on the scene early Saturday morning, after a motorist struck a gas main in the area.

Fire Chief Peter O’Leary told KFIZ News the accident occurred near Mix It Up Bakery, at 64 N. Main St.

Alliant Energy was still on the scene as of 5 a.m Saturday morning.

There were no reports of what caused the vehicle to strike the gas main, and no reports of any other damage or injuries caused as a result of the accident.
