Gas Price Report : Price at the Pump in Wisconsin Remains Well Below the National Average

Gas prices in Wisconsin
remain lower than the national average as the first full week of the new year begins.
Data from Triple-A shows the average price for a gallon of regular unleaded in
the Badger State sits at $2.42, which is 16 cents cheaper than the national average
of $2.58.


Drivers in Fond du Lac
County are seeing a price at the pump of $2.38 to start the week, with the
lowest average price in the state found in nearby Dodge County and in Walworth
County at $2.34. The highest price at the pump in the state belong to Ashland
and Iron counties in northern Wisconsin, where drivers are seeing an average
price of $2.59.
