Gas Prices Still Below National Average in WI

The lowest average gas prices in the state remain in our
area – and the average price for a gallon of gas in Wisconsin remains below the
national average as we start a new week. According to Triple-A Wisconsin’s
average price for a gallon of gas sits at $2.84, while the national average
stands at $2.89 a gallon. Drivers in Sheboygan County are seeing the lowest
prices at the pump, with the average price sitting at $2.72. Fond du Lac County
isn’t far behind at $2.73, with drivers in the Madison area also seeing prices
at $2.73. The highest prices at the pump can be found in Kenosha County at
$2.99 a gallon and Ozaukee County at $2.98.


Nationwide, Triple-A says California has the highest
average price at $4.09, Alabama the lowest at $2.50.
