Giannis Earns 5th Eastern Conference Player of the Week Honor of Season

For the fifth time this season, Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo has been named the Eastern Conference Player of the Week. Giannis averaged 30.7 points, 15.7 rebounds and four assists per game in helping the Bucks to a 3-1 record over the past week. Giannis shot 50.8 percent from the floor and 44 percent from three point range over the week – as Milwaukee improved their league-best record to 35-13. For the season, Giannis is eighth in the NBA with 26.6 points per game and sixth in the league in rebounding, averaging 12.7 rebounds a game. He was named an All-Star starter and Team Captain last week for the upcoming All-Star Game in Charlotte.
