Giannis Scores 41 to Lead Bucks to Game Three Win

NBA Finals – Game 3: 

Milwaukee 120, Phoenix 100

–Giannis Antetokounmpo scored 41 points, grabbed 13 rebounds and dished out six assists as the Bucks used the home court advantage to their favor and won game three of the NBA Finals at Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee on Sunday night. 

Milwaukee trailed 28-25 after the first quarter, and much like Phoenix did to them in game two – the Bucks dominated the second quarter, outscoring the Suns 35-17 to take a commanding 60-45 advantage at halftime. 

After shooting 50 percent from three-point range in Game Two on Thursday, the Suns shot just 29-percent, making just nine of their 31 three’s attempted in the loss. The Bucks shot 38.9 percent from distance, and 47.8 percent from the floor in the victory. 

Behind Giannis, Jrue Holiday scored 21 points and had nine assists, with Khris Middleton adding 18, Brook Lopez and Bobby Portis had 11 points each in the win for the Bucks. 

Phoenix was led by 19 points from Chris Paul, along with 18 points each from DeAndre Ayton and Jae Crowder. Devin Booker made just three of his 14 shot attempts, and finished with 10 points in the loss. 

Milwaukee can even the best-of-seven series at two games apiece with a win in Game Four, which is Wednesday night in Milwaukee. Tipoff is scheduled for 8 PM.
