Goldstein Officially Sworn In As Police Chief

It was made official Thursday as Fond du Lac Police Chief Aaron Goldstein was officially sworn into office.

The Thursday afternoon ceremony was held at the Radisson Hotel and Conference Center in Fond du Lac.

Goldstein was named interim Chief following the retirement of Bill Lamb back in May, and then named Police Chief September 7 following a nationwide search.

Police and Fire Commission Marty Ryan, at the time, said “Chief Goldstein is the best choice for Fond du Lac, and has been and will continue to be an outstanding leader.”

Chief Goldstein has been with the Department since October of 1998, and has held various positions within the Department, including Lieutenant, Administrative Lieutenant, Captain and Assistant Chief. He also served as the Department’s Accreditation Manager.
