Governor Approves Highway 23 Funding

Governor Scott Walker has approved $5 million to improve an 8.25 mile long stretch of Highway 23 between Fond du Lac and Rosendale. The project is set to begin next week, on July 9th – and last until late October. The highway will be closed and detoured until the end of August. Work will include the resurfacing and overlay of the bridge crossing the Fond du Lac River – along with pavement repair, culvert pipe replacements, storm sewer repairs, signing, and more. The road will be open during resurfacing operations from August through October.
