Grand Chute Town Board Member Gets Into Scuffle With Police Chief

A member of the Grand Chute town board, already under investigation by state investigators, got into an altercation with the Grand Chute police chief.

In a letter to the board, Chief Greg Peterson says Supervisor Ron Wolff complained to him about the investigation by the Department of Criminal Investigation, and that he could no longer support the police.

Peterson says the message was more troubling coming from a sitting elected official rather than a random citizen complaining about the police. DCI has served several search warrants on Wolff.
