Grant Brightens Christmas For Big Brothers Bigs Sisters Families

Books, bingo and gingerbread houses make the holiday season bright for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Fond du Lac County (BBBS).  With a Community Benefit grant, National Mutual Benefit put together a Christmas celebration for over 50 Bigs and Littles in the BBBS program.  The day consisted of the building of gingerbread houses, decorating cookies and a wild and crazy game of bingo.  “Our branch was excited to be able to provide BBBS children with a Christmas party and look forward to helping out in the future!” said Branch President, Laurie Pethan.

In addition to the fun-filled day, National Mutual Benefit also donated over 200 books for Littles in the BBBS program.  “This is the 3rd year that National Mutual Benefit has donated books to our program” said Tammy Young, Executive Director with BBBS.  “We are very thankful for National Mutual Benefit’s support of our program.  The Bigs and Littles had a blast at the Christmas celebration – we can’t wait to do it again next year!”
