Green Lake County Duck Hunting Accident Victim Identified

The Green Lake County Sheriff’s Office is identifying a Princeton man killed in a duck hunting accident over the
weekend. 52-year old Thomas Zodrow died after his boat capsized on the Fox
River in the Town of Marquette

Emergency crews were called to the scene around 1:45pm Saturday afternoon to
search for a duck hunter that was reported missing. About an hour later, they
pulled Zodrow to shore, where he was pronounced dead.

Zodrow was reportedly
returning from a morning hunting trip when high winds and waves capsized the
boat that he and Daniel Verch of Berlin
were in. Verch and a dog made it back to shore with no injuries. The incident
remains under investigation.
