Green Lake County Fatal Accident
On Sunday, August 31,
2014 at 3:06 p.m., the
E911
of a two vehicle accident with injuries.
Emergency responding
units arrived on scene and found two vehicles with severe damage with two
people injured. 85 year-old Anthony S. Vranak of Ripon passed away as a result. The initial investigation shows one vehicle, a
2006 Pontiac Torrent, driven by Vranak, was traveling east on McConnell Road and a 1990 Ford F350
was traveling north on Cth PP, when they collided at the intersection.
Responding units to
this crash included the Green Lake County Sheriff’s Office, Green Lake/Brooklyn
Fire Department, Berlin EMS, Green Lake EMS, Paramedic Unit, the Wisconsin
State patrol, along with the Green Lake County Coroner’s Office.
The
Patrol is conducting a Crash Investigation Reconstruction of the incident. The incident remains under investigation by
the
Patrol, and the
Coroner’s Office.
