Grocery Store Customer Requires CPR

For the second time in as many weeks, a customer in a grocery store was given CPR. The incident took place Friday afternoon, with Fond du Lac PD being called to Festival Foods on E. Johnson St., where a 79-year old male was waiting in line at a check out lane when collapsed to the ground, and was not breathing. Customers nearby jumped in to begin administering CPR until medical staff arrived. The man was transported to the hospital, where according to police reports, he passed away. Police did say their investigation shows nothing suspicious about the death.
