Grothman Speaks Out On Justice In Policing Act

Wisconsin
congressman Glenn Grothman charges advocates of police reform with trying to
“racialize” the issue. The House passed the George Floyd Justice in
Policing Act. The Sixth District Republican said no one talks about
the case of Duncan Lemp, a white man killed by cops in Maryland.
Grothman’s main opposition
to the bill centered on changes to qualified immunity for officers, which he
claimed would result in “timid, neutered” police.
