Grothman Voted For Whistleblower Protection Act

Congressman Glenn Grothman recently voted in favor of the Dr. Chris Kirkpatrick Whistleblower Protection Act. It’s is named after a psychologist at the VA Medical Center in Toma who committed suicide after he was fired from the VA for questioning the over-medication of veterans who were being treated at the facility. Grothman says Kirkpatrick’s firing was unfortunate, but wasn’t unique when it comes to exposing a government scandal. President Trump has signed the bill into law. It was sponsored by Senator Ron Johnson in the Senate, where it passed by unanimous consent.
