Grothman Votes For Budget Act

Congressman Glenn Grothman early Friday morning supported the Bipartisan Budget Act. The two-year budget agreement includes funding for items like disaster relief, infrastructure and a long-term extension of the Children’s Health Insurance Program. Congressman Grothman says, “Quite simply, voting in favor of this budget kept the government open – something I thought important to do.”  He says one of the main reasons he voted for this bipartisan budget is because it provides $6 billion to fight the opioid epidemic.  He also says it includes a structural change to Medicare that will drive down prescription costs for seniors.
