Haase Named Portage Fire Chief

A familiar name and face has a new home, and a new title. Troy Haase has been named the new Portage Fire Chief. That announcement was made by the city of Portage and the Police and Fire Commission. Haase takes over for current Fire Chief Clayton Simonson, who is retiring in 2021.Haase spent 22 years with Fond du Lac Fire and Rescue, where he held the title of division chief before retiring. Department where he was promoted to division chief.
