Habitat Home Dedication In FDL Today

Habitat for Humanity of Fond du Lac County holds the dedication for their 25th home this morning at 9 a.m. at 141 Hamilton Street in Fond du Lac. One of the features it will include is a home sprinkler system. Fire Chief Peter O’Leary says they’ve been able to put sprinkler systems in the last three homes Habitat has built. He says it provides both comfort and security for the family living in the home because if they don’t hear smoke alarms going off the sprinkler system will still do its job. The Fire Department, J.F. Ahern Company and National Fire Sprinkler Association teamed up to install the sprinkler system in the home. The public is invited to the dedication ceremony.
