Hazardous Household Waste Site to Close Permanently

The City of Fond du Lac Department of Public Works is informing residents about the permanent closure of the hazardous household waste drop-off site. The site will shut down at 3:00pm the afternoon of August 31st. The city is planning a partnership with Veolia Environment Services to plan a free annual drop-off for residents – the first is planned for October 27th. That drop-off will accept chemical, light bulbs, batteries, and ballasts. The city will continue to take waste oil at the site along Doty Street.
