Fond du Lac County residents have until the end of the week to participate in a survey that will help in the development of a Community Health Assessment. The Priority Issues Survey will identify top health concerns. Sarah Faust is the Health Educator for the County Health Department. She says preliminary finds for the assessment are based on a Community Health Survey. She says, “Last fall a Community Health Survey was conducted where phone calls were made to County residents and that gathered some of that information on behavioral and lifestyle habits and health conditions among Fond du Lac County adults.” The results of last Fall’s survey and the Priority Issues Survey are available at the County Health Department’s webpage. Faust says, “So together those are two pieces of the Health Assessment and they are available on our website and we encourage all Fond du Lac County residents to look at those key findings and then tell us what they think by taking the Priority Issues Survey.” County residents can take the survey through Friday. The priority health issues that are selected by the Healthy Fond du Lac County 2020 Steering Committee will be revealed at a community forum in June.
