It’s getting hot outside – and starting at 1:00 this afternoon, there will be a heat advisory. That advisory will run until 7:00 Sunday night. Residents are reminded to stay cool, hydrated, and informed during times of extreme heat. It’s also advised to avoid being outside during the hottest parts of the day, and to be aware of hot cars. If you begin feeling overheated, weak, or nauseated – you may be experiencing heat illness and should get inside and hydrate. If symptoms worsen, go to the emergency room.
