High School Football Scoreboard – Week 1 – 8-21-15

The Fond du Lac football team opened up their 2015 season with a 48-0
non-conference win at Appleton East on Friday night.  Cardinal senior Ryan Collien caught a 4 yard
TD pass for the 1^st score of the game.  Collien then returned the 2^nd half
kickoff 99 yards for a touchdown.  On the
next play he intercepted a pass and returned it 27 yards for a TD.  Justin Maratik also ran for a pair of TDs in
the win.  Fondy will host Kaukauna next

WLA dropped their season opener at
Lakeside Lutheran 32-25 on Friday night.  
Viking QB Eric Schmitz ran for 151 yards and 2 TDs and also threw for a
TD in the loss.  Mitch McFarlane caught
five passes for 134 yards.  WLA will travel
to Kensosha St. Joe’s next Saturday.

their own invitational on Friday.  All
three of their doubles teams went 3-0 as did Kelly Hierl at #3 singles.
