Highway 151 Pedestrian Crash Names Released

The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office is identifying the people
involved in a pedestrian-related crash along Highway 151 in the Town of Calamus around 5:40am
Tuesday morning. 

Preliminary investigation shows that 25-year old Dustin
Riggins of Madison was driving northbound in the
outside lane when he struck 24-year old Joanna Amidon of Fox Lake,
sending her into the grass area east of the highway. 44-year old Desmond
Steward of Beaver Dam was also walking with Amidon at the time. 

Riggins stopped
his vehicle at the scene and is cooperating with police. Riggins and Steward
were not injured, while Amidon suffered non-life threatening injuries. She was
taken to Beaver Dam
Hospital and later flown to Madison. The crash
remains under investigation.
