Highway 23 Aerial Patrols Begin

The Wisconsin State Patrol begins its aerial patrols today on a 19 mile stretch of State Highway 23 between Fond du Lac and Plymouth. It’s the first aerial patrol since signs were installed warning of the enforcement effort. It will run from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. if the weather is favorable for flying. Pilots will be on the look out for speeders and aggressive or reckless drivers.  They will contact ground-based law enforcement units to initiate traffic stops.
