Highway 45 Construction in Eden Wraps Up Friday

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation has good news
for drivers in and around the Village of Eden. The U.S. Highway 45
reconstruction project that began in fall of last year is set to conclude
Friday and Highway 45 and County Highway B will open to traffic by the end of
the day. The $2.8 million project included a full reconstruction of Highway 45
in the village limits of Eden, which widened the highway 1-2 feet, terrace and
storm sewer replacement among other improvements. The project also included
replacing a large culvert on County Highway B and railroad crossing replacement
on County B. Crews will be working to finish cleaning up work sites and
completing minor landscaping along the project.
