Hintze Kicks Longest FG In State History In Ledger Playoff Win

St. Mary’s Springs advanced to the Division Six State
Quarterfinals with a 41-0 win over Algoma at Fruth Field on Friday night.  Sophomore QB Blake Bauer ran for a pair of
touchdowns as the Ledgers shutout their 2nd straight playoff
opponent.  Ledger kicker Zach Hintze set
a state record when he kicked a 61-yard field goal as time expired in the first
half.  St.
Mary’s Springs (11-0) will host Shiocton (10-1) next week at Fruth.
