Horicon Man Sentenced to Probation in Drunk Driving Crash

A Horicon man who injured a passenger in a drunk driving crash will spend a year on probation. 49-year old Curtis Jaquet was found guilty of felony First Offense OWI and misdemeanor Resisting an Officer, while another charge was dismissed. Dodge County deputies responded to the crash last December along County Road S – where witnesses say Jaquet was going door-to-door asking for help.

He denied being the driver, but injuries from seatbelts suggest he was behind the wheel. He reportedly tested for a .146 blood alcohol level. Jaquet will also have his license revoked for nine months and be required to use an ignition interlock system for a year.
