House Fire In Waupun
No injuries were reported during a
house fire in Waupun Saturday afternoon. Firefighters were called to 704 East
Franklin Street just before 4 p.m. Fire Chief B.J. DeMaa says smoke and
flames were visible on the back side of the house when they arrived. He says
they made a quick entry into the home and knocked down the blaze. They were on
the scene for approximately two hours. Chief DeMaa says a wood burner and
chimney may have been factors in the fire.
