Softball:

Campbellsport 12 NFDL 4, NFDL 13 Campbellsport 12

Game 1: Kylie Zehren led Campbellsport with 4 hits and 2 rbi.  Kylie Krueger had 3 hits. Kinsley Homuth had 4 rbi and Carissa Heisdorf had 2 rbi including a homerun for Campbellsport. NFDL was led by Kali Ziemer with 2 hits and Bree Rock had 2 rbi for NFDL. Zehren earned the win for Campbellsport. 

Game 2: 9 innings NFDL jumped out to a 10-1 lead but Morgan Yahr had a 2 out  single in the bottom of the 7th tying the game at 12 sending   the  game into extra innings. Kali Ziemer reached on an error to start off the 9th and Abby Miller delivered with an rbi single scoring Ziemer for the game winner.Natalie Miller led NFDL with 3 hits and 3 rbi Including a 2 run homerun. Kylie wood also collected 3 hits, 2 rbi including a homerun. Kali Ziemer added 3 rbi for NFDL. Natalie Miller earned the win for NFDL 

WLA 11 Springs 1

WLA: Anhalt had two hits one being a double and one being a Triple. Shea hitting a triple in scoring two runs. Johnson a double. Loehr scored three runs. Casey scored two runs and had two RBIs .Neil had three RBIs, Kingsland three RBIs. Pitcher for WLA Boelk six innings,six hits ,one base on balls, and four strikeouts. SMSA: Aubrey Hafermann two hits and Maddy Wahl had a double. Pitcher for SMSA Ella Guelig 7innings, seven hits, three bases on balls, and six strikeouts

Campbellsport 11 NFDL 8

Campbellsport overcame a 6-run deficit to win.  Dillan Dowland had an RBI single in the second and an RBI double in the fourth for North Fond du Lac to lead them to an 8-2 lead.  Campbellsport exploded for 9 in the sixth behind two hits by Cullen Beisbier and doubles by Noah Fleischman and Jalen Gellings.  Joey Nerat closed the game with six strikeouts over the final two innings.

Coach Haag:  “This was a huge week for us as we faced Springs and Hustisford, two of the top teams in the conference, and came away with two wins.  The girls did a great job of rising to the occasion and bringing their A game.  We have a lot of important games ahead of us but we have put ourselves in a really good position for the rest of the conference slate.”
