HS Sports Recap 5/17

Soccer:

Neenah 2 Fondy 0

Coach Ruch: “Linked up in our attack very well, but just couldn’t put anything away. First 15 minutes were where they scored and then we began to settle in. Need to start games off better so we don’t put ourselves in a hole.” Olivia Dilling made 5 saves.

Kiel 3 Kewaskum 3
Coach Pritchard: “Our first match of the year in which we we’re down 2 goals and we stormed back to take the lead late in the 2nd half.  Taylor Schad continued her dominance by scoring all three goals against the best team we’ve played against all year.  Our entire team was caught off guard by Kewaskums speed and aggressiveness from the start of the match but we settled in.  Bryannah Remy saved a variety of shots but made another OUTSTANDING penalty kick save for a special memory on senior night.  We have some things to improve on but overall I was satisfied with our performance.”
