Human Remains Found At Park Appear To Be Missing Neenah Man

Human remains found at high Cliff State Park are those of Starkie Swenson, who was last seen decades ago.

The remains were found in late September by two hikers.

Swenson is a Neenah man who went missing almost 40 years ago. Even though his body wasn’t found, John Andrews was convicted of killing Swenson.

Investigators believed the 67-year old Swenson was having an affair with Andrews’ former wife and he was killed in what they called a love triangle.

Calumet County Sheriff Mark Weigert says the remains won’t officially be identified yet until DNA test results are received.
