Hwy. 151 Accident Sends Two To Hospital

A two-vehicle crash Tuesday
evening sends two people to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The accident occurred just before 6:30 Tuesday evening on Hwy 151 at Deadwood Point Rd,
in the Town of Taycheedah

The initial investigation shows a vehicle driven by a 75-year old male from New
Holstein, was heading north and attempted to pass a motorcycle, when he
collided with a pick-up truck turning west on Deadwood Point Rd. The male was
removed from the vehicle and transported to St.
Agnes Hospital

The collision caused the pick-up truck to roll over, and the driver of that
vehicle, a 74-year old male from Eldorado, was taken to St. Agnes Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. A
female passenger in the truck was able to exit on her own. Unsafe passing and
alcohol appear to be the causes in the crash. The FDL County Sheriff’s Office
was assisted at the scene by the Town of Calumet Fire
Department
and First Responders, Mt. Calvary Ambulance, City of Fond du Lac Ambulance and
the Wisconsin State Patrol.
