Ice Rescue On Beaver Dam Lake

Update:

A 52-year-old man died after his pickup truck went through the ice on Beaver Dam Lake Monday morning. Dodge County Sheriff’s officials responded to the Hickory Point boat launch ramp at 6:45 a.m. The pickup truck was in the water about 20 yards from shore. The man was located and pronounced dead by the County Medical Examiner. The Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Dive Team conducted a search near the vehicle but did not locate any other victims.

The Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Dive Team was asked to assist after a pickup truck broke through the ice on Beaver Dam Lake Monday morning. The accident happened near Hickory Point about 7 a.m.  Check back for updates.
