Imagination Network Will Talk About Networking

Does the thought of having to “network” in order to promote your business or a new idea make you uncomfortable?  Aspiring entrepreneurs and current small business owners are invited to learn how to network for results at the January 13th Imagination Network meeting from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Elks Club, 33 Sheboygan Street, Fond du Lac.

Most aspiring entrepreneurs and existing business owners understand that networking is a vital marketing component of their business, but don’t know how to do it effectively and comfortably.  Many join Associations or Chambers of Commerce because they feel they “should” network, but are disappointed with the business results they achieve because networking is a skill not truly learned.   Jerry Baltus, business advisor from AdviCoach, will share the value of networking, where to network, how to spot opportunities, and what to say (the “how”).

Imagination Network meetings are free and open to everyone in the Fond du Lac County area, surrounding counties and beyond. Meetings occur every second Tuesday of each month.   The purpose of the Imagination Network, an inventors and entrepreneurs club, is to educate, nurture and network area inventors and entrepreneurs.  It’s a great place to get connected with other entrepreneurs, share ideas and tap into a vast network of resources.
