Incentive Pay For NFDL Ambulance Transports Approved

The North Fond du Lac Village Board this past week took action that will help with its ambulance transport service. The board approved the hiring of Tim Rodgers and Jeremiah Moore for the village’s EMS Department. The board also approved a $25 call in pay for off hour transports. The service providing ambulance transports to and from medical facilities in the area is available from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. weekdays. Village Administrator Chuck Hornung says the $25 call in pay supplements what ambulance personnel normally get. Otherwise the per hour pay on weekends and after hours really isn’t much incentive for a short ambulance call.
