Johnsonville Recalling over 48,000 Pounds of “Grillers” Products

Johnsonville is recalling over 48,000 pounds of raw
ground pork patty products that may be contaminated with black rubber pieces.
The patties were produced and packaged on September 27th, October 17th
and October 18th of last year and were shipped to retailers around
the country.


The following products are subject to recall:

24-oz. (1.5 lbs.)
plastic bag in a carton of frozen “Johnsonville Grillers CHEDDAR CHEESE &
BACON FLAVOR” with “Best Flavor By: 7/24/2019” represented on the label.

·        
24-oz. (1.5 lbs.)
plastic bag in a carton of frozen “Johnsonville Grillers CHEDDAR CHEESE &
BACON FLAVOR” with “Best Flavor By: 8/13/2019” represented on the label.

·        
24-oz. (1.5 lbs.)
plastic bag in a carton of frozen “Johnsonville Grillers CHEDDAR CHEESE &
BACON FLAVOR” with “Best Flavor By: 8/14/2019” represented on the label.

 

The products being
recalled will have the number 34225 printed on the carton and under the “Best
Flavor By” date. No adverse reactions due to consuming the product have been
reported, but the USDA is asking people to throw out any affected products that
may be in their freezers or return them to the store where they were purchased.
