GRINNELL, Iowa — The Midwest Conference (MWC) announced the 2021 Men’s Tennis Divisional All-Conference Awards Wednesday morning, as selected by the league’s head coaches, with Junior Drew Jorgensen earning Ripon’s lone selection. Due to this year’s divisional-play format, Conference teams garnered All-Conference selections based on the final seeding in their respective divisions.

An Exercise Science major from Fond du Lac, Wis., Jorgensen played at both number one singles and number one doubles this season. He went 5-4 in singles play, while playing against the best competition in the MWC, while going 4-5 in doubles play with two different partners combined. Jorgensen played a key role in Ripon defeating Cornell (Iowa) and St. Norbert each for the first time in 14 years.

This marks Jorgensen’s first career All-Conference appearance. He is also a two-time Academic All-Conference performer
