Judge Denies Motion To Dismiss Charges Against FDL Woman Who Allegedly Helped Cover Up Murder

Fond du Lac County Judge Peter Grimm this week denied a motion to dismiss charges against the Fond du Lac woman suspected of helping her sister hide the body of a murder victim. Thirty-six-year-old Tina Ewell is suspected of helping her sister Eve Nance dispose of the body of Nance’s husband Tim Nance after she shot and killed him in November of 2013. In May Nance was sentenced to 25 years to life in prison for the murder. The two felony charges Ewell’s lawyer tried to get dismissed were hiding a corpse and aiding a felon. She also faces misdemeanor charges of obstructing an officer and failure to report a death caused by unusual circumstances. Ewell is scheduled to go on trial in October.
