Jury Finds FDL Man Not Guilty Of Armed Robbery

A Fond du Lac County jury Friday found a 45-year-old Fond
du Lac man not guilty of all nine charges brought against him for an alleged
armed robbery and assault. Terry Searl was found not guilty of armed robbery,
aggravated battery and seven other charges during a three-day jury trial. Searl
was suspected of forcing his way into a residence on East Pioneer Road last June
looking for drugs and money. He was allegedly armed with a handgun and struck a
66-year-old man in the head with the gun during the incident. He allegedly took
cell phones during the incident.
