Jury Trial Set For Stabbing Suspect

The Waupun teen that allegedly stabbed a Randolph man will have a jury trial in Dodge County Court on May 17th.  Eighteen-year-old Nicholas Core faces a felony charge of Injury by Negligent Use of a Weapon and three misdemeanor charges. A comment posted on social media about a girl was the catalyst for the stabbing in front of a home in the 500 block of West Brown Street last September. An 18-year-old Randolph man suffered a two-inch cut to his arm and was treated at Waupun Memorial Hospital.
