Kentucky Woman Wanted For Green Lake County Arson

The 57-year-old Kentucky woman suspected of trying to kill her father in Green Lake County early Sunday morning has been captured. West Bend Police arrested Cynthia Stark-Griffin Tuesday afternoon. A sales clerk had recognized her from a press release and called 9-1-1. She allegedly set fires inside her father’s home in the Town of Marquette, but no one was injured by those fires. Green Lake County authorities had sought Stark-Griffin on a temporary felony warrant for attempted homicide and arson charges. 

A 57 year old woman from Elizabethtown, Kentucky is wanted on felony charges of Attempted Homicide and Arson to a Residence after an incident that occurred early Sunday morning in Green Lake County. According to the Green Lake County Sheriff’s Office, authorities responded to a home on Rex Street in the Town of Marquette for a call of an intentionally set fire at a home. A man who lives at the home said his daughter, Cynthia L. Stark-Griffin, set the fires and left the scene. The fires were put out and no one was injured. Griffin is 5 foot 7 inches tall, weighing around 150 pounds and is driving a 2005 Ford Freestar Van with Kentucky license plates. Authorities say she sleeps in her car in hotel parking lots and other public places and is believed to be in southeastern Wisconsin. Griffin is believed to be mentally unstable and may be in possession of a 9mm handgun and a shotgun, and has two reportedly vicious dogs with her. If you see the car or the suspect, you are asked to call local law enforcement.
