Kewaskum Woman Ordered To Pay Restitution In Ripon Womans Death

A 27-year-old Kewaskum woman has been ordered to pay $10,000 in restitution to the family of a woman she killed in a traffic accident. Heather Cleveland recently appeared in Fond du Lac County Court for a restitution hearing. Last June she was sentenced to three years in prison and two years of extended supervision for a June 2014 accident that led to death of 63-year-old Linda Trotter of Ripon. Cleveland was texting on her phone minutes before running into the back of a pickup truck on Highway 23 that was turning onto Willow Road. The truck then hit Trotter’s vehicle killing her.
